Beet Fries

3  Beets
1 Tablespoon  Olive oil (or vegetable or canola oil)
1 teaspoon  Salt
 Pepper to taste

Beet Fries Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Peel and slice beets into ½-inch sticks.
  3. Lay beets on a sheet pan in a single layer and drizzle oil and salt (and pepper, if using) over top. Toss to coat and arrange back in a single layer.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Flip the beets and bake for another 10 minutes until tender.
