If you are implementing the program, we would love to hear and see how you are putting the program in action.

Kimberly Woodward, an art teacher at Tamaqua Area Middle School, put the PA Harvest of the Month in action by organizing a 3-part week of painting canvas panel murals of the harvests, examining facts, recipes and creating table tents for their three cafeterias. Lastly they celebrated with a taste-testing to round out the week.
"I have shared PA Harvest of the Month activities on my Facebook page, Browns Childcare. I love participating in this program because it helps me educate my preschoolers on all of the benefits of eating healthy foods. I use the downloadable resources on website to help me create lessons for my children. I pair the foods we eat during snacks, meals or taste tests with books along with posters and print outs to enhance learning in many developmental domains. We do "five sense activities" to learn about the specific item. I have been participating in the program for nearly two years now. The stickers provide a fun incentive for children trying new foods!"
